This Privacy Policy explains how TQ tech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the TQ File Manager mobile application (“App”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
About the App
TQ File Manager is a file management application for Android devices. It allows you to browse, copy, move, delete, compress, extract, search, and open files stored on your device or connected storage.
Optional features include Shizuku-based access to restricted folders, in-app subscriptions (Pro), and advertisements for free users.
Information We Collect
The App stores certain data only on your device to provide its features. This may include:
- Bookmarks / favorites (folder paths you save)
- Recent files (file names, paths, and related metadata)
- Search history (search terms you enter in the App)
- Global search index (file and folder names and paths indexed from your device storage)
- App settings and preferences (theme, sort order, hidden file settings, display options, etc.)
- Subscription status (whether Pro is active, cached locally after verification through Google Play)
- Ads configuration cache (whether ads are enabled, based on remote settings)
The App accesses files and folders on your device only when you use file management features and only with permissions you grant. File contents are processed on your device to perform actions such as browsing, copying, previewing, compressing, or extracting.
Google AdMob (Advertising)
If you use the free version of the App, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements (app open ads, interstitial ads, native inline ads). AdMob may collect: Advertising ID, device information, IP address, and ad interaction data.

Google Play Billing (Subscriptions)
Payments for TQ File Manager Pro are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details. Google Play may share with us: subscription status, product ID, and purchase token.

Remote Ads Status Check
The App may contact a remote server to check whether ads should be shown. This is a simple configuration check and typically does not include personal identifiers beyond standard network request data (such as IP address).

Shizuku (Optional)
If you choose to use Shizuku for access to restricted folders (such as Android/data), the App communicates with the Shizuku service installed separately on your device. Shizuku is a third-party tool not controlled by us.

How We Use Information

Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited information only in these cases:
- With Google (AdMob, Play Billing) as required for ads and subscriptions
- With service providers who help us operate the App (if applicable)
- When required by law (court order, legal process, or government request)
- To protect rights and safety (fraud prevention, security, enforcement of our terms)
Your files remain on your device unless you choose to share them (e.g., via Android share sheet).
Data Retention
- Local App data remains on your device until you clear App data, uninstall the App, or delete items within the App.
- Subscription status is verified through Google Play and cached locally.
- Ad-related data is handled according to Google AdMob policies.

Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and any files you manage with the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at tqtech123@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
International Users
If you use the App outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers (such as Google) operate. By using the App, you consent to such processing.
Your Rights and Choices

- Withdraw consent where applicable
Because most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it directly through App or device settings.
